I was inspired this morning to update a track recorded for my very first album “Meteorise” in 1981.
Moonwards 1 & 2 used voice samples from an album called “The Eagle Has Landed” a recoding of the original moon landing. It was recorded on my Tascam 144 cassette 4 track recorder using a Roland SH3a Synthesizer, an EDP WASP synth sequenced with a Sinclair ZX81 with an E&MM interface and a Casio 201 through an Electro Harmonix Small Stone phaser.
The overdubs where done in real time in the spirit of the original recording with an E-Mu Proteus FX doing the drone and choir and a Roland System-1 synth doing extra FX.
